Planning my wedding was a breeze thanks to Pinterest and the thousands of amazing wedding blogs out there. When I wasn’t scouring boards and blogs, I was immersed in glossy bridal magazines while sipping a non-fat caramel macchiato at Barnes and Noble. Only because you have to purchase a drink in order to utilize the tables at the book store…not because I am obsessed.
Local magazines are a great resource for finding caterers, florists, rentals companies and so much more. Not only do they provide great pictures but you really got a sense of a companies best work and you can explore different looks you would want at your event.
Well just my luck, a great new wedding magazine is making its debut on book shelves just mere months after my planning concluded. But I am not upset, because looking through the pages only makes me want to get married all over again…(I see a very elaborate vow renewal in my future. And by future I mean in 10 months)
Modern Luxury Brides South Florida & The Caribbean Magazine, is a glossy and digital publication that encompasses a little bit of class and a whole lot of glamour. Two important factors when I was planning my big day. This dapper high gloss is available now at bookstores or can be viewed online here. After skimming through the pages here are my top three favorite things:
Pictures- Every picture on the site flows majestically and everything goes together very well. If you are looking for photograph ideas for your wedding, this is the place to get go!
Pages- From heartfelt stories to wedding horrors…with happy endings. The stories were easy to read which is a definite plus, especially when you are reading while you’re supposed to be working! Shh…don’t tell.
Places- As a former bride-to-be, one of the things I always looked out for was events and happenings. Bridal shows and trunk shows are a great place to find ideas and see what is trendy and what is a definite “pass.” The online marketplace is lacking some links but I have faith it will definitely be an asset once it’s up and running.
