My day job has allowed me to plan and attend some of the swankiest affairs around town, so when tables were turned and my event was on the line only the best would suffice. But with only a shoestring budget to work with and Veuve Clicquot taste, planning a wedding was a little more daunting than I imaged.

I started this blog as a way to jot down my thoughts, inspirations, and wedding stress. Well, we are finally married! My wedding was everything I ever dreamed of and worth all of the sleepless nights and dress fittings.  I plan on continuing this blog as a creative outlet to inspire brides-to-be and anyone who loves to entertain.

Follow my newlywed adventures as I attempt to become a wife, start a new career, and finish my MBA. All with a smile, fabulous shoes, and a party to celebrate every accomplishment.  I promise a few laughs, helpful advice, and even a simple recipe or two.
